The project came up from an idea of Doom Rider (bass) (Drive By, Nocaut) and Yireg (strings) (Exhumation, Meiwesroom) to make a project pure and entirely dedicated to Death Metal that idea came up to reality when Ishtar (strings) (Victimizer, Antimoral) offered his strings to the project, and that was the original crew at that time. Later Glodo (Psycho Inc., Psicofonia) and Humanbeast (Mar de Dolor, Dying Balance) made present to what is the today's Soulcide's crew on screams and beats respectively. So many names came through our minds to denominate this project, the best was Soul Homicide by Ishtar, but it was far too long then it came up an idea from Yireg "Soulcide", and after everyone voted unanimously "yes", the project had a name.
