Circa Survive is an experimental rock band consisting of former Saosin vocalist Anthony Green and members of the now-defunct This Day Forward. Green cites Paul Simon, dredg, and Björk among the artists who have influenced the vocal stylings and songwriting in Circa Survive, which is comparatively less aggressive than Saosin.

On Letting Go is experimental rock band Circa Survive's sophomore album, to be released on May 29, 2007 by Equal Vision Records. Anthony Green has allegedly said this album will be faster than Juturna. Green confirmed that the album has been mixed and mastered recently. In a Myspace blog, guitarist Colin Frangicetto confirmed that the album has, in fact, been entirely mastered, and that the album is scheduled for a May 29th release date. The album art is once again the work of Esao Andrews, who illustrated the cover of Juturna. As of May 14th 2007, the band decided to post the lyrics to the new cd on their website, one song a day, starting with the opener, "Living Together."
